Der "UK-Maniac- Quilt" für meinen Mann ist endlich fertig!
Pünktlich zum Heiligabend habe ich dieses langwierige Projekt beendet.
Die Freude beim Hineinkuscheln meines Gatten, umgeben von allen
seinen Lieblingsmarken der britischen Motorindustrie, lässt jede Durststrecke
beim Handquilten vergessen........
The "UK- Maniac- Quilt" for my beloved husband is done!
It was finished just in time the 24th of december :o)
I love to watch my husband, wenn he snuggles down in the blanket, surrounded by
all of his favourite brands of the british motor industrie.

Nachdem ich ziemlich lange über einem Muster gebrütet habe und lange Zeit gar keine Fortschritte zu sehen waren- das Resultat ist ein ganz persönliches Geschenk und war jede Mühe wert!
After meditating a long time about the pattern and some hard times - handquilting took more time, than I supposed - the result is a very personal quilt! And it is worth all sweat and tears ;)
Bezüglich des Musters bin ich inspiriert worden durch den wundervollen Blog von Elisabeth Hartman "Oh Fransson" .
The pattern, I took out of the Book "Modern Patchwork" by Elisabeth Hartman . I was inspired by her wonderful blog "Oh Fransson"
Die nächsten Projekte sind schon am Start, Stoffe sind genug da :o)
For the next projects, I will try to raid my stash :o)
