The first UFO 2026 is finished, yippee  !! It's a Quilt for my sister in Hamburg, she already  got a matching cushion 11 years ago 🙈 I have to practice the quilting by walking foot, there are still some traps to step in. But I 've got 3 other Quilts to overcome the obstacles.... Das erste UFO 2026 ist am Sonntag fertig geworden, Hurra !! Der Quilt ist für meine Schwester in Hamburg, dort liegt schon seit 2015 ein passendes Kissen 🙈   Beim Quilten mit dem Walking Foot brauche ich tatsächlich noch Übung, es gibt noch ein paar Stolperfallen... Aber ich habe ja noch 3 Quilts  auf der Liste um diese zu überwinden ..... A collection of different ZenChic fabric....Pattern a process by hazard .... Eine Mischung verschiedener ZenChic Serien....Pattern ein Prozess und Zufall .... Der Ballenrest meines geliebten Comma Stoffs reichte leider nicht aus.... The end of bold of my favourite Comma fabric wasn't enough....a pity.... Still looking very good ...... Auch nach 11 Jahren ...

 It`s been a long time, since I wrote the last Post on my blog... In 2015 I switched to Instagram, like many  creative people did. It seemed to be modern, fast, exciting ....and ended in daily scrolling through posts I don't like, generated by an algorithm, just to maximise clicks and profit. I have to scroll over  6 posts or reels I don't want to look at, until I reach a current post of someone I follow.  Additional fact: instead of sewing,  I spend more and more time with scrolling.  One of my New Year's resolutions is, to reactivate the slower life in the blogger universe. Instead of focussing on spectacular pictures or reels, I want to describe the creative process and also wrong paths. I ch habe mich richtig erschrocken, als ich gesehen habe, dass ich schon über 10 Jahre nichts mehr im Blog geschrieben habe. Seit 2015 bin ich nur noch auf Instagram unterwegs. Es erschien mir modern, aufregend, schnell.....und jetzt scrolle ich täglich durch Posts und R...
